Katherine Heigl has opened herself about her experience of being born into an environment that was a "white bubble" and how this realization has affected how she raises her adoptive multiracial children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recently that, with regards to skin color there is no difference. However, after talking to her adopted sister by South Korea she realized just how differently society treats them. I wanted to know Meg if when she was she was out with her parents she was treated with a specific manner but when she was on her own, she got a completely different kind of treatment. Meg replied "Oh I do, each and every occasion!" Heigl revealed to Parents that she realized how foolish she was. She confessed that she was mad, but she felt that she had to channel this anger to help her children. Heigl has a son who is four years and Josh Kelley, her husband for the past 13 years. The couple adopted Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion and was adopted in 2009.
