Laura Linney, best known for portraying strong, but fragile characters, is one of the most celebrated American actors of our times. In the summer, while working with her father's business Laura Linney fell in love with the theatre. After that she attended Brown University she studied acting and at Juilliard School, after which she began her acting career. After graduating from Brown University in the year 2000, she started making her Broadway debut shortly thereafter. In the space of two years from this, her first feature film hit the market, and following year, her debut on television. She has appeared in innumerable movies, television shows and stage shows since. She's been nominated for three Tony Awards, three Academy Awards, five Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards (including two Golden Globe Awards), and has won numerous awards throughout her professional career. Though she was awarded numerous prizes throughout her career, theatre is always her main interest.
