Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress who has starred in numerous television series. VanCamp also has a great record in the film industry. The popularity of her is shared by both Canadian as well as American television. Emily became interested in the acting profession when she was just 12. Her older sister Katie on the set of a film. Once she discovered her passion in acting, she began taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. After a few successful commercials she was quickly cast in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You afraid of the Dark? She was only seen in one scene, without dialogue. In the year 15 Emily got her first big break when she became a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then cast her on his television show Everwood. Emily is an artist and ballerina, was recognized by Teen magazine as one the best actresses younger than 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
